Help Hub

Help Hub is a FREE service for Next Education Students where you can book a 30 minute session with one of our tutors. It is a non-structured lesson where a student can get one-on-one time with a tutor. 

We recommend booking a session to seek help for:

- questions relating to a tutoring lesson, including going through the homework worksheet or past topic tests, 

- school homework or revising for an upcoming exam at school, and/or 

- providing guidance on an assessment/assignment (note that we cannot provide solutions for these, but can provide guidance and feedback). Try and have a go at your assessment/assignment first before you book a Help Hub, so you know what to focus on and ask guidance for. 
 

It is not guaranteed that the tutor will know how to answer/complete everything that is presented, but they will do their best to try, or get back to you after the session if it is not too time consuming. Sometimes, we may suggest that a longer, structured session is more suitable and this will be chargeable. 

Tips on getting the most out of the session:

- be organised and prepared with questions or material that you want help with. The tutor will not have any materials. 

- stick to questions and material within the syllabus. Do not bring questions about Olympiad, math competitions or external enrichment. 

- be punctual because the session will start and end according to the designated time slot.

Guidelines for using Help Hub:

1/ Available time slots are released over the weekend for the next two weeks. 

2/ Students are limited to one session per fortnight. This is to give all students access to the Help Hub. If you make more than one booking per fortnight, then one or more of the sessions will be cancelled and you will be notified.

3/ If you do not need the session after booking it, please email info@nexteducation.com.au or contact 0410 633 464 to cancel it asap. This is a courtesy so the tutor is not expecting you, and it offers other students to book the time slot. 

4/ On the booking form, enter a description of what you want to cover because this is helpful for the tutor to know in advance. Be detailed and specific on what you need help with.

5/ If you choose Online, please email us questions or photos beforehand because it is more efficient.

6/ Online sessions are 25 minute time slots to allow for connection time and latency in remote interactions. Zoom is used.

Next Education reserves the right to cancel a Help Hub session before it has commenced and you will be notified by email and phone/SMS.
