Do you come to my home?
Unfortunately, no.
Do you offer private (one-to-one) maths tutoring?
Unfortunately, no. Our centre offers a class based teaching structure. Class learning provides a group learning environment where a variety of problems can be discussed and solved in an informal and encouraging environment. It also allows for a syllabus to be taught which promotes structure and is intended to accelerate the student.
How big is a class?
At the moment, the average class size is 8 students.
How long is a lesson?
Year 7 to Year 10 lessons are 90 minutes long. Year 11 and Year 12 lessons are 2 hours duration. In addition, we have FREE 30 minute homework help sessions for all our Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 students.
How often are classes held?
Tutoring classes are run on a weekly basis. We structure our timetable to fit into four (4) terms which follow the school term dates, however we only take one week break in between terms. There is a longer holiday during the December and January period.
Do you offer a discount on fees?
We believe the fees are a fair rate. There is a discount offered if you attend more than one lesson per week eg. HSC Mathematics Extension 1 (3U) & HSC Mathematics Extention 2 (4U). There is a sibling discount available.
For all new students, the first lesson is free and intended as a trial - parents are more than welcome to sit in. We always have cash incentive if you refer other student(s).
